The Bears have marched on to the 2nd round of the National VKO in a surpisingly one sided affair at Meadow Styles. Russ Turner top scoring and Dave Wells excelling on his return to the side propelled the Bears to a reasonable 184-7 having lost the toss. Some excellent bowling by James Stevens (2-11 from 9) and a great spell by Mark Baron (4-30) backed up by tidy work from Paul Brzezicki and Ben Keeping with the ball and Steve Bird behind the stumps Dinton were dismissed for 110 in 32 overs. Ibstone await in the next round on 4th May.
